Absolutely! Our Pharmacy Technician Program will prepare you for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PCTE) to earn the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
Didactic & Simulation (19 weeks): Engage on the art of learning through online lectures and modules with instructive videos, dynamic PowerPoint presentations, though-provoking case study discussion, and worksheets with quizzes to enhance your knowledge.
In-person Externship (6 weeks): Elevate your expertise as you perform the skills and knowledge learned in the Didactic portion of the program. During the 300 hour rotation, you will be evaluated under the instruction of a licensed pharmacist at an approved pharmacy.
Students are required to attend all 300 hours at an approved pharmacy under direct instruction of a licensed pharmacist. Students will get to experience how to process prescriptions from computer systems and software, maintain pharmacy inventory and understand different replenishment systems, and to understand the difference between prescription, behind the counter, and over the counter medications!
